Because of the LAWKS system on the 910, the blade tends to hug one side of the knife (tends to give knives that cheap appearance). So I did a little mod using some washers from a cheap Boker I had. I also removed the LAWKS thingy altogether.
Additionally, because the lockup was around 80% of the blade tang, (something that bugs me), after my mod it adjusted the lock up exactly where I like it! Not to mention, with 4 washers, (bronze + nylon) the knife is really smooth now. I also lubed with an oil I bought specifically for my flashlight threads & o-rings, called Nano-oil. Good stuff. adheres to sub-microscopic metal crevices sounds kinky, but so far is a very good oil.
Love the knife, Paul. Thanks for getting them in !
