Barkriver Puukko 3V

The knife of the North, the Puukko has been a staple tool of the Northern peoples (particularly the Finns) for generations, an all purpose tool for Hunting, Food prep, Craft and Camp work. Typically a hidden tang construction, Barkriver have given the Puukko a much stronger full tang construction and have used x6 Pins to adhere the handle.

As with most Puukko's the Barkriver version has no finger guard allowing for great control over the blade and also the bladelength is slightly longer than the Nordic standard, being 4.25in. This alows it to be a much more in line with a modern Bushcraft knife and indeed the blend of tradition and modern materials makes for a superb take on the time honored tool.

CPM 3V is extremely tough and a great choice for Bushcraft Knives.
