Otter Mercator Outdoor Knife
Nice quality, traditionally made Outdoor Knife from Mercator (Otter) of Germany. This knife is about as straight forward as they come, its a testament to the function of simplicity. The time tested design has remained unchanged and its as useful today as in the 1850's.
Its a 5 1/4in blade of German High Carbon C75 steel, flat ground with Smoked oak handle and solid Brass Pins. Scales are wide and rounded, the blade is tapered and a slight drop point. Very simple.
Great as a general purpose outdoor knife, bushcraft, hunting, camp use, food prep etc etc, thats what is was originally designed for, a good all rounder.
Made in Germany. Comes with quality Leather dangler sheath.
