New in, this Hex Firesteel offers 6 flat sides to strike from, giving an even and wide surface for maxiumum control and strike area.

Each strike surface is approx 8mm in width.

• Flat profile design, for greater control and greater efficiency. Approx. 8mm of direct striker-contact on each side!
• 1/2" (12.5mm) thick Sånft-kōrr ferrocerium rod yields 20,000+ strikes
• Shower of sparks, at 5,500º F (3,000º C) to ignite a fire in any weather (even when wet), at any altitude from our Sånft-kōrr™ ferro.
• Works at any altitude, in any weather... even wet.
• Includes full grain leather lanyard for multiple securing options, and 6-function multi-tool scraper.

Comes with leather lace and striker.
