The TK4 is a TK3 with a lightweight composite handle. It is there to offer a lighter modern material version of the TK3. The composite is especially resistant to corrosion and solvents and this makes the knife especially useful for the workplace.

The Black and silver give the knife a modern sleek look, the three crowns of the 'Tre Kronor' stand out in bold relief. The TK4 has the pointed shark like appearance of the TK3 knives, but is created  in a modern styled, lightweight package.
