Otter Pruning Knife

Made in Germany, this is a Classic, Traditional Pruning Knife! Originally it was made made specifically for Nursery workers and Professional Market Gardeners, but it quickly became adopted by Gardeners everywhere.

The Traditional construction is solid and reliable, a Spring Steel opening (this is non-locking knife)  with brass liners and Brass Pins.

The Blade is a High Carbon C45, chosen for giving the Blade the maximum Strength because the edge is thinned to give it the most 'Bite'.

The Slabs are Sapele Wood which is a very tough, Interlocked Grain, Hard wood.
