This particular blade is designed for taking off material from the sides of logs and prepping them for use as either building material or for your general woodworking projects.
A very well-balanced axe, perfect for timbering. Both for notch work and cutting the sides of the log.

The weight indicates axe head and handle. The handle is made of ash wood. The total weight might vary because wood is a living material that can have different density and characteristics, even though we make sure all handles have the same humidity.
