This is the full MIL SPEC paracord, direct from the makers in the USA, its more expensive than the commercial variety but has more, and stricter, manufacturing controls.

 

USA made, 7 strand, MIL SPEC 550 paracord. Excellent and endlessly useful piece of kit, can be deployed in a host of useful applications and is a near essential for the outdoors, amazing strength and just 5/32in in diameter.

Originally designed for parachute canopy lines, this cord is made from specially oriented high grade nylon fibers resulting in a balanced, elongation controlled, high strength certified product. Our MIL-C-5040 TYPE III has seven (7) strands of nylon core, one of them being our ID marker strand of yellow & black. Many steps are taken to produce this item insuring its MILITARY SPECIFIED CONSTRUCTION and overall performance.
