This Wootz steel Outdoor knife is Made in Finland by well known knife maker Heimo Roselli, who has been knife making in the far North for 45 years. He is famous for his UHC and Wootz steel knives, and the quality and design of his traditional knives and axes are among the very best.

The Steel is a forged fine grained Ultra High carbon (Carbon 1.8%) with a hardness of 66-68HRC! this extremely high rating gives it a superb edge and excellent edge holding. The steel is tough too (tensile strength is ca.2500N/mm2) and its a great choice as a primary hunting or general purpose outdoor knife.

Made in the traditional Scandinavian stick tang fashion, the knife has an excellent heat treated locally sourced Birch wood handle and quality leather sheath. A very comfortable and ergonomic knife to use, its a great tool for the Northern woods.
