Hultafors Splitting Axe 5LB
Hand Forged in Sweden from Swedish Steel, this is the largest Splitting Axe that Hultafors make. Its a traditional splitter with a big 5LB head on a 32in handle.
Designed for heavy work, the robust steel and time honored design make for a great combination, the big head weight and long handle make for high impact to tackle that big pile of wood and convert it to portable pieces!
The 32in Hickory handle is straight made and the head is triple wedged with x2 Hollow steel Pins and a hardwood wedge.
The Steel is struck many times to increase the density and therefore the strength and the axe is a great and efficient splitter of wood.
Does NOT have a head cover.
