Excellent new version of the Silky Pocketboy, aimed directly at Hunters and Outdoorsman.
The new version is still Made in Japan, using the superb Japanese SK5 Steel, its has the Impulse hardened, Non Set Teeth with the 4 Cutting Angle (MIRAI-ME), the Steel lock, Pivot and the same great ergonomics.
But the new OUTBACK range also gets the Nickel/Tin Black Coat, the Black coat helps alot with corrosion resistance and also helps reduce drag, making the saw both more durable and more efficient. The handle is the new Abor Composite with its enhanced Grip in Cold and Wet weathers.
One of the Silky Outback's best features as regards Hunters is the new Outback Blade cuts both Wood and Bone, so can be used around the Camp, as well as Field Dressing Game.

This compact and lightweight folding saw has extraordinary cutting capacity, and is the perfect addition for any adventure. The PocketBoy Outback features a highly durable nickel/tin blend black coating that has low reflection and an arbor composite grip. As with all Silky saws, the blade has non-set teeth that are taper-ground and impulse-hardened, for great cutting efficiency. Each one comes with hard plastic carrying case.
