The Puukko is the quintessential knife of the Laps, Sami and other Northern Europeans, a practical All Purpose Tool used in the Camp, for Food Prep, Hunting and Survival.
Joker Knives of Spain have looked at this design and come up with their own versions, this one is the 'Grandfather'.
Made in the traditional way with a full narrow tang and full wrap around Curly Birch handle, the Grandfather also has a double Steel Caps with Black liners and a superb 3in spear Point Blade of the excellent Swedish 14C28N Stainless Steel. This is a tough, full stainless with excellent reputation for edge holding too.
Its Scandi ground of course, in the same way the traditional knives were, so that sharpening in the field is easy and quick.
Its a great take on a long tradition, using modern Steels and Modern Production. A Quality outdoor knife.
